Amethyst cluster

Amethyst cluster is a multi-positional system of sub-assemblies that can be reconfigured to create various spatial constructs. This form and its transfigurations are abstract enough to be considered as basis of further exploration. Robotic arms are used in this project to animate the components, exploring varieties of configuration and pioneering a new way of studying movable structures and architecture

Using PLA, modeling styrofom and paper, we explored the ways of fabrication methods. Each one of the methods has been utilized to create different parts of the geometry depending on the advantages inherent in the fabrication
